Quality Analyst

Responsible for building a secure, highly available, scalable, resilient, and quality software using the latest technologies and standard software development process by collaborating with the Product Management, Engineering and support teams.

1. Accountable for end-to-end design, development, and quality assurance activities on assigned projects and initiatives. 
2. Responsible in identifying suitable architecture, infrastructure and tech stack based on requirements
3. Responsible for Data Migration end to end Testing by using tools like ETL and Hadoop.
4. Responsible for mentoring, growing the team, improving, and expanding Development and QA Practices, establishing, and streamlining processes within the team and improving team productivity.
5. Responsible for building and maintaining a better CI/CD system for the team
6. Creates, executes, and manages test plans/test cases across the entire spectrum of quality assurance, including but not limited to exploratory tests, acceptance tests, functional tests, regression tests, smoke tests, usability tests, performance tests, etc. Analyzes requirements (user stories and acceptance criteria) and aligns test strategy for wide ranges of projects
7. Writes automated Selenium WebDriver (java), API and performance scripts.
8. Executes testing on relational DB.
9. Communicates quality issues and risks to the teams, technical leaders and ensures those are fixed and not repetitive by ensuring proper visibility, metrics, and alerting.
10. Acts like a Mentor and provides guidance, assistance for testing design approach and tools on projects of peers and junior associates.
11. Assists with creating and performing repeatable testing procedures and processes. Also responsible for following Scrum/Agile best practices.
12. Coordinates with management to ensure identification of appropriate schedules, goals, design criteria, methodology, etc. Completes assigned tasks thoroughly and on time. Escalates appropriately if deadlines are in danger.
13. Manages projects to deadlines while avoiding undue time crunch for self and project team. Balances project management while accepting responsibility over a specialized area.
14. Provides good, clear communications to all stakeholders (Customers, Leadership Team, Partners), setting expectations. 
15. Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.
